For Breast Cancer Patients at KRMC

Connie’s Quilts are relying on generous, compassionate people like you to support the needs of our community. There is no doubt that each of us can and do make a difference. It only takes each of us to add our energy by contributing what we can to have great impact.

For Quilter’s and non-quilters alike, there are quilting kits selling for $5 and are ready for sewing. Kits include fabric and the sewing pattern. For those who don’t know how to sew, kits are still available for purchase and store members can take care of the sewing process. Once the store has enough blocks turned in, store members will complete the quilts. Last year there was a king size quilt available for raffling. Quilts that are raffled are usually a twin or throw size.

Quilting Raffle tickets vary in prices from $1 or 6 for $5.

Kits can be purchased from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday – Friday, or 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturdays. You can purchase blocks until the end of August. There will be at least 10 quilts for raffle and the raffling will take place at 2 p.m. Oct. 16 at 310 E. Beale Street

This may sound like a lot, but if 100 people gave $50.00 each, we could more than double the goal of $2000 by caring enough to be a positive influence in the lives of others today!!

For years, KRMC has been known as a supporter for hope and healing of our family members, friends and neighbors who are facing the challenges of cancer. Our KRMC cancer center is committed to top-notch patient care, as well as their resource connection to the Mayo Clinic’s innovative medical research and determination.

All proceeds are donated to provide mammograms and transportation for those who cannot afford it.
