Join us here and visit past missions, trainings and other activities.

The sheriff’s office’s search and rescue program is an all-volunteer organization with more than 75 members covering all of Mohave County. The main mission of the SAR is to assist the sheriff’s office in the search of lost individuals, and if needed, to rescue them. SAR members also help in evidence searches, body recoveries, security at community events, traffic control and also provide assistance during fires and other disasters.
